Hello! And greetings from sunny New York! My name is Hannah, this is my first blog post, and I would like to share this article I came across in the NY Times: "Neither Men Nor Mice." I liked it because it puts the reality of the male/female double standard on the table, and (more importantly!) reinforces the message that men and women are different.
However, I was not so thrilled with the black-and-white statement directed to women, in the third to last paragraph--"Ultimately, women must be more mindful and use greater finesse when conveying their messages..."
Don't we all need to be "more mindful"' when we communicate, and to create harmonious environments AND attain our goals...?
