I can't think of a more impressive or honorable job for a woman than being a mother.


Isn't is sort of, um, modest, to have a certain hesitancy to display one's accomplishments?


Sarah-I think there is a big difference between boasting about one's accomplishments, and simply speaking about them with confidence. I agree in that often silence is an extremly powerful form of modesty, but I would say that this article is addressing women who put themselves down and are ashamed of what they do. That's not being modest, that's representing a lack of self-confidence.
