Hajimemashite! (Which is "How do you do?" in Japanese.) My name is Stephanie and I live in Michigan. I've been helping girls to deal with the "Elite" in school.
You know the ones who seem to need the control of others, and like to torture those who don't meet their "standards"? I know them far too well. I got throttled three times, just because I was "ugly" in Junior High.
In my senior year, I got some advice from a older friend: "After you graduate you don't have to see them ever again."
So with that thought I managed to graduate, and that was 1987.
I've seen a few of my old tormenters since then. They really partied and had a good time. So much so, that now in their 40's, they look like grandparents. Really worn out. While I, the 'ugly' one, get asked when will I graduate from High School. Late blooming counts for something. . . .
Listen girls, you are supposed to be "ugly" in puberty--everybody feels the same way. You don't need to isolate yourself. Make friends. And while you have fun, remember this... eventually, those "Elites" are going to have to pay thousands of dollars to retain what you will develop into naturally.
